The Clairefontaine A4 Clothbound Notebook (8.25 x 11.75) is the ideal everyday notebook. The Mondrian-like laminated cover has a lustrous sheen and is offered in assorted colors. Clairefontaine makes the best paper in the world for writing and has been doing so since 1858. This 90 g pH neutral (archival quality), acid-free paper has an exceptionally smooth, satin finish and is eco-friendly too. The cloth binding matches the cover color. Select from 3 different page styles: French Ruled, Graph, or Ruled w/ margin.

The Clairefontaine mill has been making paper since 1858 and stationery products since 1890. The company is best known for making the first school notebooks in France, and has become famous for their exceptional paper quality. Clairefontaine is currently the only European manufacturer making its own paper for its own products. This guarantees not only consistent quality, but also controls the environmental impact of the manufacturing process. All of Clairefontaine's Clothbound Notebooks include 90 g acid-free white paper, sewn cloth spine that matches the cover color, and a smooth satin paper finish.

The quality of the product is awesome, I love the French ruled style and I own previous Clairefontaine books and their quality and durability is amazing for the constant writer and note taker. Will order more soon!

Sturdy and Beautiful Paper

I used this journal for a script, and glued a page of script to every single sheet, and this journal STILL held fast and maintained its sleek feel. The paper has a lovely silky finish that I can't stop writing on. Love that it's both sturdy and refined
