The story of Buddha Dog begins with a Labrador named Henry. Henry suffered greatly from allergies and his owner searched tirelessly for dietary or environmental causes that contributed to his symptoms. While researching, she discovered hemp, an organic material with hypo allergenic and anti-bacterial properties that is a much healthier alternative to nylon and leather in dog collars. Having a background in fashion and design, this concerned dog owner crafted a collar that was simple, stylish and comfortable, yet free of irritating bleach, artificial dyes and toxic chemicals; thus Buddha Dog was born. Buddha Dog provides the everyday dog lover with simple sophistication that embodies the love for their pets and embraces them as an integral part of the family.
