Pretty and unique! But-- they show your underwear!

So when I ordered these I didn't get that the mesh, pink looking stripe is actually see through! I would be fine with this, if the see through part stopped before my underwear! Instead, your underwear can clearly be seen through the side panels. Not just a shadow of your underwear, but every detail! I find this a very strange design flaw. How could the designers not have noticed this or considered it a problem? Why not just design them so that that part of the stripe wouldn't be see through? I still love the overall look of the legging and the fit (medium was perfect and I'm 5'10" 135lbs), so I kept them. It is awkward, however, to have to keep adjusting your top so that it covers the part where your underwear shows.
