This skirt is light and lovely and has exquisite detailing. Made from a light-weight organic cotton voile, it features dramatic 6” swaths of smocking along both sides of the waist, which not only looks good, but also makes it easy to pull on. The sides of the skirt then swoop into a refined A-line. Cream-colored contrast fabric adorns the top of the waist and is inset into the underside of the raw hem. (It's not lined, so you may prefer to wear it with a slip - but it's not necessary, our model is not wearing one.) This skirt is just as at home on the beach as at a cocktail party - it's easy to dress up or down, and has an elegant yet funky, artisanal feel.
