Moleskine hardcover journals also have a built-in elastic closure that holds the sturdy cover closed when not in use, a black ribbon placeholder, and an expandable accordion pocket in the back made of cardboard and oilcloth for holding tickets, notes and clippings. Each Moleskine Soft cover notebooks, Moleskine Datebooks and Moleskine Volant notebooks have a soft pliable cover filled with acid free paper pages that thread-bound providing a sturdy but flexible notebook.
